Who we are

Yellowcake Analytics (yellowcakeanalytics.com) is an independent uranium & nuclear market analytics site operated by Patrick F. Scott. Contact: privacy@yellowcakeanalytics.com.

What we collect

• Email subscription data — your email address (required) and, only if you choose to provide them: investor type (retail / fund / industry / IR / advisor), company, and tickers you follow. We use double opt-in: no emails until you confirm.
• Subscription activity — confirmations, unsubscribes, and daily-CSV downloads, kept as an audit log.
• Site analytics — standard aggregate usage data via Google Analytics (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). No account is required to use the site.

How we use it

• To send the weekly uranium brief and transactional emails (confirmation, welcome).
• To provide the free daily data CSV you request.
• To understand our audience in aggregate (e.g. what share of subscribers are industry vs. retail) and improve the product.

What we don't do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing. If that ever changes, we will ask for your explicit opt-in consent first — your existing consent does not cover it.
• We don't require an account, and we don't collect payment data.

Service providers

We use infrastructure providers to run the site and deliver email (hosting, database, transactional email, and newsletter delivery). They process your data only on our behalf and under their own security commitments.

Your rights

• Unsubscribe — every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link (CAN-SPAM compliant). Unsubscribing stops all marketing email immediately.
• Access / deletion — email privacy@yellowcakeanalytics.com to request a copy or deletion of your data. California residents may exercise their CCPA rights the same way; we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Data retention & security

Subscription data is retained while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for audit purposes. Data is stored with access limited to the operator; transport is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).

Changes

We'll update this page when the policy changes and note the new effective date. Material changes affecting how your data is used will be announced by email.
